A classically trained artist performing since the age of 12, Demby’s music has been compared by critics to Bach, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Beethoven, Brahms, Palestrina, Rachmaninoff, Wagner, Puccini, Debussy, Ravel, Copland, Mahler, Vivaldi, Faure, etc.
Her focus has included one-woman shows of her paintings and sculptures in Greenwich Village Galleries. Music, myth, art, and spirit merged in her SPACE MASS, a spectacular multi-media production launched in NYC combining painting, film, massive environmental sculptures, music, dance and ritual. She is composer, performer, painter, sculptor, instrument designer, innovator, multi-media producer, and healer for our times.
Dedicated to exploring the healing power of sound and it’s ability to alter consciousness, Constance has received countless letters from those who, because of the music, experienced a major healing, a life shift, chose not to commit suicide, etc. Healers and therapists use the albums in sessions to deepen and facilitate their work.
